Lengths, masses and money

How it works

Quantities are converted to the same unit before calculating. For lengths, adjacent units mm, cm, dm, m differ by factors of 10. One kilogram equals 1000 grams.

Note
1 m = 100 cm = 1000 mm; 1 kg = 1000 g; 1 € = 100 cents.

An example

Convert 5 m and 10 cm into centimeters. Give the result in cm.

5 m = 500 cm. Add 10 cm. Result: 510 cm.
