Prisms and solids
How it works
A prism has two parallel, congruent bases. The volume is base area times perpendicular height. The lateral surface area is base perimeter times height.
Note
V=G·h; O=2G+U_G·h.
V=G·h; O=2G+U_G·h.
An example
A prism has a triangular base with base length g=7 cm and height 8 cm. The prism height is 5 cm. Calculate the volume. Give the result in cm³.
G=7·8:2. V=G·5. Result: 140 cm³.
