Text analysis and structured presentation – basic principles
How it works
Text analysis examines the structure, content, language and intention of a text. In the process, central statements, argumentation structure, linguistic devices and their effect are identified. In a structured presentation, the results are presented clearly, usually with an introduction, main part and conclusion. Important are objective language, textual evidence and a comprehensible structure. The analysis distinguishes between facts and opinions, identifies rhetorical devices and evaluates their function for the text’s message.
